Hi, I’m Stephanie.

You can call me Steph, the voice behind the Medium in the Middle Podcast, a Reiki Master Teacher, Intuitive Psychic Medium, Akashic Record Practitioner, Spiritual and Business Mentor, and PSYCH-K® Facilitator based in Banff, Alberta. I specialize in teaching Reiki, guiding spiritual development, and helping others connect with energy in a way that’s practical, grounded, and approachable.

Since 2018, I’ve been working in the world of energy, and I’ve been teaching monthly Reiki trainings for over 5 years, with more than 220 courses taught. I teach live, virtual Reiki classes that support students at every stage of their practice.

My path into this work wasn’t planned; it unfolded one unexpected step at a time. I started the Medium in the Middle Podcast in 2019 as a way to document what I was learning about energy work, mediumship, and intuition. Over time, it became a platform for teaching, connecting, and building community. What began as a personal journey has turned into a business that supports students and practitioners all over the world.

I don’t believe you need to be “gifted” to work with energy. You just need to be curious, willing to practice, and open to learning. That’s what I teach. Whether it’s through Reiki, mentorship, or the podcast, my goal is to help you build confidence in your own connection, in a way that actually makes sense!

I am passionate about offering educational, relatable, and accessible Reiki services that help you truly understand yourself and your experiences. No fluff, no woo-woo (ok, a little woo sometimes!), just practical guidance anyone can follow. My goal is to make energy work and the spirit realm feel normal and approachable for everyday people. I want to be known for clear, down-to-earth teaching and support that empowers you to grow your spiritual practice with confidence!

 WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

It was early 2018, and the word “Reiki” caught my attention.

That is when everything changed for me. After my Reiki Level One course, I was hooked. Suddenly, my intuitive gifts started expanding and showing up in ways I never expected. Over the next few years, I dove deep into my development, trying to understand what was really going on with my intuition and connection to spirit.

I was just a regular gal working at lululemon and teaching CrossFit and then, almost overnight, I became a medium (crazy, I know!)
